What is Navidium Shipping Protection?
Shipping Protection is an optional service available at checkout that protects orders against loss, theft, or damage during transit.
If an issue occurs while a parcel is being delivered, Shipping Protection allows our team to quickly resolve the situation by arranging a replacement or refund, without requiring lengthy courier investigations.
The service helps ensure orders arrive safely and provides additional peace of mind while items are in transit.
What Shipping Protection Covers
Shipping Protection applies to events that occur while a parcel is being transported by the courier, including:
- Items damaged during shipping
- Parcels lost in transit
- Packages stolen after delivery (subject to claim review)
If one of these situations occurs, our team will review the claim and arrange an appropriate resolution, typically a replacement or refund.
Why Shipping Protection Is Non-Refundable
Shipping Protection is a transit protection service, not part of the product purchase itself.
Once an order has been shipped, the protection becomes active and the service has already been provided during the delivery process.
For this reason, Shipping Protection is non-refundable once an order has been dispatched, even if the order is later returned.
This is similar to other delivery services such as shipping fees or express delivery upgrades, which are also not refundable after the shipment has taken place.
Returns and Shipping Protection
If an order is returned for any reason (for example, change of mind or preference), the product cost will be refunded according to our returns policy once the item is received and inspected.
However, the Shipping Protection fee itself is not refundable, as the protection service was already active while the parcel was in transit.
If Your Order Arrives Damaged
In the rare event that an order arrives damaged, Shipping Protection allows us to prioritise a quick resolution.
In most cases, we will arrange a replacement item to be sent as quickly as possible.
If a replacement is not available or preferred, our support team will guide you through the next steps.
